SAGE developers continuously work to roll out updates and new features. The first part of this year was no exception. If anything, it was a cornucopia of goodness. Check out these highlights.

New Details in Product Search
In product search, users will be delighted to see that they can instantly get additional information on a given product by clicking a link to the supplier’s product page on their website.
Not only that, but for clients who want to know the environmental impact of certain products, product pages will show the carbon footprint information (when available) to help you make informed decisions.
Along those lines, when doing a supplier search, users can now search supplier shipping locations in addition to a mailing address to discover the range of shipping with a particular supplier.
Perhaps one of the most requested new features in product search in the Print on Demand (POD) flag. The flag appears on relevant product pages when print on demand services are available. Additionally, you can choose to search using the Print on Demand search parameter to find eligible product options.

New in Presentations
In January SAGE introduced the Presentation Wizard. Powered by AI technology, the Presentation Wizard makes it easy to create a presentation for clients by only entering basic information and letting the AI do the rest. Users can still edit the presentation after it’s produced, but having the Presentation Wizard do the initial production is an unbelievable time saver. You can even restrict the wizard so that it only uses suppliers in your preference groups. Explore the magic in the Presentations module of SAGE Workplace™.
Also new in the Presentations module is the Gallery Layout. Show off a group of products side by side in a clean, modern style to allow clients to view the options without scrolling as much.
Those who use Presentations regularly will also notice that users can now change the header and body background color settings. You can even use an image for the header background if you choose.

Catalog Studio
SAGE changed the name of Print Studio to Catalog Studio to reflect how it’s most often used, but the best news is that it’s now available in the web application of SAGE Workplace.

Email Campaign Updates
The good news is that you can now send email campaigns from the web app of SAGE Workplace to enhance and energize your marketing efforts.

New in Email Services
For those who use SAGE to host your email service, you can also enjoy the benefits of AI in your emailing efforts when you use the Pro webmail theme. SAGE AI technology enables you to get a summary of emails, to generate a reply, to get assistance with new messages, and to translate emails.

Client Text Messaging
SAGE users can now send text messages directly from their CRM in the Clients module of SAGE Workplace. It’s a big deal if you’re serious about effective communication. Doing so centralizes the messages so everyone on your team with access can see them, making customer service communication seamless. All the communication is logged in one location within SAGE Workplace. Additionally, because the “send” number is specific to your SAGE CRM account, your personal information remains private.

New in SAGE Websites
Check it out: your SAGE Websites look better on mobile. A little tweaking here and formatting there has given sites a cleaner look and given the products on those sites some space to be seen. It’s also easier to access the filter options.
It’s also now possible to strike through “regular” prices to minimize confusion for site visitors. Simply apply price adjustments to PromoSearch.
That sums up Q1. Rest assured there will be more to report in Q2.
