When is the SAGE Show?

The expanded partnership with PPAI, combined with the extended geographic coverage of The PPAI Expo and Expo East tradeshows gives suppliers the opportunity to cover the country with three high quality shows at the beginning of the year.

The SAGE Show will be held in Fort Worth, Texas at the Fort Worth Convention Center. Downtown Ft. Who can attend the SAGE Show?
Promotional products distributors and their salespeople are welcome to attend the education day as well as both show days. Distributors are able to personally invite their clients to walk the show floor on April 28th only. Distributors are encouraged to walk with their clients to ensure the best overall show experience.
What role does PPAI have in the SAGE Show?
SAGE and PPAI have extended their existing Power of Two alliance to include the SAGE Show. PPAI will manage the sale of booths as well as the floor plan for the SAGE Show. Also, PPAI will be bringing The PPAI Expo-like experience to the central U.S. with networking events, a full day of PPAI Professional Development, and additional opportunities for volunteers and member engagement. This allows PPAI to better serve the industry and its central U.S. membership that have been unable to attend The PPAI Expo in Las Vegas or the recently announced Expo East in Atlantic City. By joining with SAGE, PPAI is able to serve these members without introducing another show into the market.
How will the hosted client day work?
Distributors are encouraged to invite their clients to attend the show and walk the show floor with them on the second day of the show. Clients' badges will identify them as such and list their associated distributor's information. There are two different ways that clients can be registered for the SAGE Show. First, distributors can register their own clients through the online registration system. Second, clients can register themselves using an invitation code from their distributor that SAGE will provide to each distributor for this purpose. The code links each client to their distributor. Clients will not be permitted to register themselves or attend without an invitation code from a distributor.
Why does the SAGE Show have a hosted client element?
The invitation-only, hosted client day is designed for distributors who wish to create a one-on-one enhanced sales experience geared towards identifying and satisfying the needs of key clients. The program serves the unique needs of suppliers as well, by providing a setting in which to create brand awareness, present case studies and discuss the benefits of promotional products directly with clients and their distributors.
Sixteen of the 28 regional associations currently have hosted client shows. These shows have been very popular and successful and both suppliers and distributors have appreciated participating in these shows. Suppliers who are unable to exhibit on the hosted client day may choose to only exhibit on the distributor day by notifying SAGE with their registration.
In addition, the Dallas/Ft Worth area is home to hundreds of corporate headquarters, including 18 in the Fortune 500. This creates a large, educated, population of key clients with promotional products purchasing power in the Dallas/Ft Worth area.
What will the SAGE Show cost for distributors and clients?
Admission to the tradeshow will be free for all promotional products distributors, their salespeople, and their invited clients.
What happens now to MAPPS by SAGE in the fall?
The SAGE Show is replacing MAPPS, which has traditionally been held in the fall. Both SAGE and PPAI believe that it is important to provide a great new show experience in the central U.S. without adding another tradshow to an already hectic tradeshow calendar. As part of the transition, the show's name will change from MAPPS to the SAGE Show. MAPPS stands for Metroplex Area Promotional Products Show. The show started out 22 years ago as a show for the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. But over the years, it has become much more than that, drawing attendees from throughout the central U.S. and beyond. The show's new name, SAGE Show, reflects its new status as a premiere promotional products tradeshow for the central U.S.
