This past quarter, we’ve rolled out even more exciting features and enhancements you won’t want to miss. With expanded capabilities in the SAGE Websites and new tools in SAGE Workplace, these updates are designed to give you greater customization, control, and efficiency in your workflow. Let’s take a look at what’s new.

Additional Fees in Your Cart

Additional fees can now be added to SAGE Website carts. Examples of fees may include a processing fee or a handling fee. You can charge fees pre- or post-tax. Also, choose whether you want the fees to apply just to credit card charges or all charges. Visit www.sagemember.com and navigate to the Cart Settings to add fees to your cart area.

Custom CSS

We’ve introduced new custom CSS fields for advanced users in additional areas of SAGE Websites and Stores, including showrooms and product detail pages. CSS is a language used by developers and website designers to style a web page. These new fields allow for greater control and customization of your page designs.

Trade Shows

We’ve added an exciting new module to the SAGE Workplace web app (formerly SAGE Web). You’ll now find a Trade Shows option in the left-side navigation. This module lets you search and find industry trade shows with ease.

When you select a show, you’ll have access to the full exhibitor list, which you can sort and filter by text, preference groups, notes, walk lists, or visited exhibitors.

  • Just returned from a show? View all your show-related content, including notes, visited booths, images, and more!

Alerts

The Alerts area on the homepage of the SAGE Workplace web app (formerly SAGE Web) has some new enhancements. Alerts can be set up for several actions, including notifications when a product goes on special, is updated, pricing has changed, or has been discontinued.  You can set up alerts by going to the My Product Info tab on the product details page.

Now, clicking on an alert will expand it to show more details. We’ve also added quick-action buttons to alerts, making it easier to navigate directly to what you need in SAGE Workplace. For instance, if you receive a product-related alert, you can simply click “Open Product” to go straight to that item.

AI

We have added AI to so many new areas of the SAGE Workplace iOS and Android apps to make you more efficient while on the go. First, we have added our AI-powered Idea Wizard to the search page. With a few prompts, this idea generator can give you product ideas for your client. Simply tap the light bulb in the top right corner, tell it a little about your event or client, and let the magic happen.

AI has also been added to various other modules in the SAGE Workplace iOS and Android apps, including the Presentations area, where you can auto-create or enhance introductions, product descriptions, or thank you notes in the Projects area.

CRM

The CRM module in the SAGE Workplace iOS and Android apps received a significant boost with new features to provide a comprehensive overview of client interactions and activities. From the newly introduced client overview page to AI-powered product suggestions, these new features equip businesses with powerful tools to better understand and serve their clients.

We have added new Webhooks to SAGE Connect.  What’s a webhook, you ask? It’s a real-time notification that sends data from one service to another when a specific event happens. For distributors, this means you can automatically push SAGE data – like presentations or product details – to your back-end system. Keep in mind, implementing this feature does require some technical expertise.
