This blog is an attempt to show how all the modules in SAGE Workplace overlap and function together to accomplish the goal of helping distributors get orders. You’ll want to refer back to the diagram as you read to fully connect the dots.

The CRM
This is the hub of almost everything you do in SAGE Workplace™. It’s where you keep contact information, project task lists, and logo files to use in the creation of virtual samples. In the same way you add contacts to a new phone right away, you add contact information for clients and prospects in SAGE. The information in your CRM is essential for using other the other modules.
Projects
Open Projects every day to see orders, status updates, and tasks that need to be completed. From this module, you can send confirmation emails to clients as well as invoices and status updates.
Projects Overlaps with Marketing and Product Search
In addition to sending email order confirmations and status updates based on what you see in Projects, you can use email marketing to transform a prospect to a customer. SAGE email marketing module provides templates you can use. Together with the contact information from the CRM, you can automate emails to go out up to twice a month.
Projects and Product Search overlap when you’re collaborating with a customer or prospect to find the right promotional product for their specific needs. Once you find a selection, add them to a Presentation and use the Virtual Design Studio (VDS) to show clients how an item would look with their logo on it.
Marketing
Marketing encompasses all the efforts you make to earn a prospects trust and turn them into a customer by convincing them to order something from you. Within SAGE Workplace that includes catalog creation, presentations, emails, and more.
Marketing Overlaps with Product Search
Within SAGE Workplace product search, you can find promotional products to fit certain themes, certain price ranges, specific industries, and more. This allows you to create presentations (or let AI create the presentation for you with Presentation Wizard) that can be used to market specific companies.
Orders
At the epicenter of the SAGE Workplace universe are orders. That’s the goal of your business. Collecting contact information, searching for the perfect products, and all your marketing efforts point to orders: receiving and fulfilling them. The Virtual Design Studio, email marketing, and presentations converge to the point when a prospect commits to becoming a customer. From there, the order management module serves you well to maintain clear communication with customers throughout the process and keep them coming back for more.
