Looking for marketing suggestions or business tips? Join a community group in SAGE Total Access and interact directly with industry professionals and SAGE specialists. SAGE Community allows you to ask for help from other distributors in the industry who understand your business. If there isn\u2019t already a group discussing your topic, creating a new group is easy. You can create a group to share with all SAGE promotional product distributors or create a private group to communicate exclusively with specific groups and colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here are a few tips for using SAGE Community:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Start with Searching<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before creating a new group or posting a question, try searching the boards for your keywords. If you need help finding a promotional item for lawyers, just type \u201clawyer\u201d into the search bar. Looking for a garment supplier? Try searching \u201cgarment,\u201d \u201cshirt,\u201d or something similar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"378\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/02-keywords.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16478\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/02-keywords.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/02-keywords-300x148.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><figcaption><br><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Be Concise<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you do decide to post, get right to the point. These groups are being used by hundreds of busy professionals. They are more likely to respond if you ask a direct question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For example, instead of: <\/strong><em>\u201cDoes anyone know of a good supplier for fountain pens? I saw a couple but wonder if there might be others out there. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Try rephrasing to something like this: <\/strong><em>\u201cI\u2019m looking for a reliable supplier for fountain pens. Any suggestions? Thank you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"378\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/03-searching.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16479\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/03-searching.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/03-searching-300x148.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read and Respond<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Community groups are only as good as their contributors make it! So, participate, read through other people\u2019s questions, and be sure to provide thoughtful responses. The more users that actively utilize the community groups, the more helpful they become! Next, select <strong>Community<\/strong> from the left side menu. From there, you should be able to locate <strong>Groups<\/strong> on the right-hand side. To join a group, click the <strong>plus sign<\/strong> to add it to your feed. From there, you can comment, like, and even add new posts to the group!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"378\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/05-joining-a-group.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16481\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/05-joining-a-group.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/05-joining-a-group-300x148.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Adding a Post<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To add a new post to the group, simply click the <strong>New Post<\/strong> icon. You can add your topic and ask your question. You can even add a picture of a product from your photos or the product search. When finished, hit <strong>post<\/strong>! Group members and SAGE experts can now reply to your posts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"378\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/06-adding-a-post.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16482\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/06-adding-a-post.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/06-adding-a-post-300x148.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Joining Multiple Groups<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also join <strong>multiple groups <\/strong>in SAGE Community by clicking the plus sign next to the group name. You can view one group at a time by switching tabs underneath the <strong>MY FEED<\/strong> bar in the upper left-hand corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"378\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/07-joining-multiple-groups.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-16483\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/07-joining-multiple-groups.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.sageworld.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/07-joining-multiple-groups-300x148.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Unfollowing Groups<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To <strong>unfollow a group<\/strong>, simply go to the <strong>Groups<\/strong> tab on the right, and go to the group you wish to unfollow. From there, you can insert a name and description and add members to your group.
