Whether you’re thinking about trying SAGE for the first time, or maybe you’re a brand new user, or even if you’re a seasoned vet, we know you might have some questions, so we’re here to help!

We asked our account advisors to give us a list of the questions users ask most frequently, and we’ve compiled those (plus the answers!) right here just for you. So, let’s jump in!

Can I use SAGE on a Mac?

Absolutely!

SAGE Web allows you to research products and suppliers, manage your customer relationships, and more from any device with web access, including on a Mac!

Did you know you can also access SAGE information from your mobile device? SAGE Mobile is available for both iOS and Android devices, so you can work while you’re on the go.

As a SAGE Total Access subscriber, you have access to SAGE Online, SAGE Web, and SAGE Mobile for one low per-user price. Best of all, your devices will sync across platforms, so you can pick up where you left off once you’re back at your desk.

How do I download SAGE Online to a new computer?

Who doesn’t love upgrading their hardware? It’s always fun to play around with a new computer—trust us, we get it! You can download SAGE Online at any time from your SAGEmember.com account. Just navigate to the support tab on the lefthand column and click to expand. Next, click on downloads, and you’ll see the installation file. Just double-click to start!

What if I can’t remember my password?

I am pretty sure that without my phone saving all of my passwords, I would be locked out of everything all of the time. But it happens!

So, if you’ve forgotten your SAGE password, whether you’re in SAGE Online, SAGE Web, SAGE Mobile, or SAGEmember.com, just select the “forgot password” option right below the login and password fields. This will redirect you to a password reset page, where you can reset your password by typing in your login ID and email address. It’s that easy!

I can’t find a product! Can you help?

We sure can!

And we’ve got a couple of different ways we can help you out! First, if you’re in SAGE Online, you can click the Live Help button in the top right corner of the product search screen. If you’re in SAGE Web, or SAGE Mobile, you can still get the same live help, just in a different location! In SAGE Web, you would look for the Research Assistance button on the bottom toolbar in the product search area and in SAGE Mobile, it’s the red magnifying glass search icon in the top right corner. Each of these will connect you with one of our Research Assistant Specialists, who can help you find whatever hard-to-find item you are looking for.

And if you aren’t looking for a specific hard-to-find item but instead maybe just need some brainstorming help, use SAGE’s AI-powered Idea Wizard! From the product search area in SAGE Online or SAGE Web, just click the ideas button (located next to the Live Help and Research Assistance buttons) for your very own AI assistant! Type in a short summary of the event or general idea you’re looking for, and the Idea Wizard will generate multiple searches to fit your parameters!

Can I search for embroiderers or engravers in SAGE?

Of course! Whether searching in SAGE Online, SAGE Web, or SAGE Mobile, simply select the Decorators search tab from the left-side navigation menu. From here, you can search for decorators by service, program, location (including city, state or province, country, or even by miles from a zip or postal code), or rating. You can also include other filters in your search like whether they participate in any ESG/Diversity programs or social responsibility programs, offer specials, are recent award winners, or more.

Does SAGE offer email marketing?

100%! We know it can be pretty intimidating, so we took the guesswork out of it! Every month, we upload two brand-new, ready-to-send email campaigns (with a ton more in the library!), already populated, themed, and with products that link directly to your SAGE Website.

Or, if you’d like to get creative, you can do that, too! Our super easy-to-use module allows you to create your own.

Do you offer catalogs?

Absolutely! Just like email campaigns, we have introduced a series of Ready-To-Go Catalogs, which are predesigned, prepopulated, and ready to go! All you have to do is add your logo and tailor it to fit your client. Plus, we’ve got 14 different themes! From top tech picks to nothing but tumblers and cups.

If you’d like to create your own, you don’t have to be a Photoshop master. With SAGE Print Studio, you can make your very own.

How can I create a presentation for my customer?

Creating a professional presentation is a quick and easy way to pitch your customers. You can add products directly from a search, add virtual samples, and even pull their information from your CRM. With the SAGE Presentation Module, you can share your presentation through a convenient link that allows you and your customers to leave real-time feedback, keep your communication in one place, and speed up your sales process.

Plus, you can create custom or default templates, e-commerce enabled presentations to allow your clients to purchase items from a presentation on your SAGE Website, or even create an order form right from the presentation once you’ve sealed the deal!

Do you offer company stores?

Absolutely! Company stores are a really cool way for your customers to order anything they need, whenever they need it, or set up incentive programs for their employees to get cool branded swag. And we know that not one-size-fits-all, so we offer different levels of company stores to fit your customers’ needs.

How can I add my own products to stores?

Did you know you can add your own products to your stores? You sure can! Make your way to the Showrooms tab under your website settings drop-down. From here, you can either choose a showroom you’ve already set up or choose to create a new one. Then, you can use the blue buttons at the top of the page to import your products.

How can I track the inventory I have on hand?

That’s really simple, too – all you have to do is log on to SAGEmember.com and head over to your website’s settings. Then, make your way down to site settings. From there, click Showrooms at the top of the page and scroll down to numbers to turn on your inventory management. Now, you can import all of your inventory information. To do so, follow this link and follow the steps in our training video!

What is a starter store?

Starter stores are a really cool way to pitch a company store to your customers who might be on the fence about starting one or if you’re looking to wow potential customers with a slick, prepopulated. Choose from a bunch of different topics like specific industries, holidays, and everything in between; add some branding, and go on to impress your customers with your amazing website-building skills :).
