One of my favorite things about Supplier Spotlights is being able to forge a relationship with suppliers! I love seeing their side of the business and what sort of brand-new, super cool things they’re going to bring to distributors. Whether it’s talking about a new product, a new way of decorating, or a new way to make the ordering process easier, I also love catching up with suppliers I’ve come to know!

When I last sat down with Rush Service and Zac – the Vice President of Sales at Rush Service, we talked about how he brought Rush Service into the technological future! They upgraded their website to include full order tracking and customer service chat to accommodate the instant customer service experience that people look for nowadays.

And they’ve not stopped since!

Since we last spoke, they’ve continued to upgrade their websites and backend to best suit their customers. And the biggest, most exciting thing they’ve been working on just rolled out – they’ve been integrating with SAGE Connect to sync their back-end system with our databases to ensure that everything from their product data to their inventory is current for SAGE users.

For those unfamiliar, SAGE Connect is a full-featured API that enables suppliers to sync their back-end systems with the SAGE database. This gives suppliers the ability to automatically update product information, add inventory levels, include order tracking information, and more in SAGE when they update their back-end system.

Rush Service has also been hard at work updating and streamlining their website; for example, if you’re searching for can coolers, you can choose your color, enter your quantity, and it’ll automatically pop up a small window with an estimate that will update with all the selections you make when it comes to decorating your can coolers plus shipping. Not to mention, he told me that there are a ton of deals posted on their site every single day – so be sure to keep checking back to see what you can find!

To Zac, this is a big deal. He understands the need for online ordering. He also understands that distributors are busy and that if they can make the ordering process a breeze, then they can focus on truly being “Rush Service.”
