How did you get here?
I was a supplier rep for seven years and had previously worked for a software company in Denver before getting into the promotional products industry.
Where do you find inspiration?
I love working with customers who are skeptical about using a new software like SAGE. Working with them on their needs always reminds me how much SAGE helps people every day. It just makes my day better when they finally switch to SAGE.
How do you define success?
Success to me is doing a job you can be proud of. I feel like I am a success when my clients are successful. I feel that if they succeed, I succeed.
When you look back on your life, what do you want to see?
I hope that I can look back and see all the people I have helped, either personally or professionally. I have people in my life that have helped me and I hope I can return the favor to others. How does the saying go? Want to build yourself up? Start by building someone else up.
What is your favorite thing about the promotional products industry?
I like that this industry helps promote business, people, and events. It is really cool to go somewhere and see products we help people sell. I see polo shirts that I sold on the show “Fixer upper”… so that is really cool, too.
What is the best promotional product you’ve ever seen?
That’s a tough one. I guess the best promotional product I have seen is the one that a person has kept. I personally (before I got into the industry) had a padfolio given to me back in 1997 and I still use it. I received it from a TV station along with a coffee mug. I still have that mug, too!
