SAGE Supplier Center
The SAGE Supplier Center is a software tool which allows suppliers to manage their company and product information, including contact information, pricing, specials, and more. All updates are immediately posted to all of our research tools, including SAGE Online, SAGE Web, SAGE Mobile and SAGE PromoSearch. You also have access to all of your SAGE electronic advertisements, which means you can update the artwork as often as you’d like and view statistical reports and charts. Verified By Supplier
SAGE has the only Verified by Supplier database in the industry. SAGE Advantage Members have the ability to verify their product information and pricing in the SAGE Supplier Center in real time. When a distributor views any of your products, they will see a "Verified by Supplier" icon to confirm that the information is current. Distributors also have the ability to search only for products in SAGE Online that are "Verified by Supplier". Over 85 percent of current catalogs in SAGE are verified and many distributors choose to only search for verified products. Make sure yours are verified today!
The SAGEim instant messaging system, an industry first, instantly connects suppliers and distributors for real-time customer service and sales information. Distributors can easily request a chat session while searching for products. In addition, multi-session capabilities allow supplier representatives to multitask and be more efficient in handling distributor inquiries and customer service questions. Suppliers can install SAGEim on as many computers as they want and have the option to set up an unlimited number of groups.
The new SAGE FastTrack service gives you the ability to update your product information in our database with ease by editing an Excel spreadsheet and submitting it into the system through the SAGE Supplier Center. Our systems will immediately review your submission and notify you in real time about common errors. If everything looks good, your updates will be processed with high priority through our special FastTrack process. This means your product updates will be live on all SAGE research services the same day you submit it or by the next business day!
As a SAGE Advantage Member, you have the opportunity to advertise in all of the SAGE marketing vehicles, including banner advertisements in SAGE Online, keyword advertising tied to specific distributor product searches, e-commerce product stores on distributors' websites, and print advertising. This full-featured application programming interface (API) is designed to give you the ability to update your product information, post inventory levels, add order tracking information, and more. The API integrates seamlessly into your own system via a structured datastream. The SAGE distributor look-up is a perfect supplement to your normal distributor qualification process as well as a great tool to find current distributor contact information.
A customizable SAGE WebExpress website is included with your SAGE Advantage Membership! A website helps people find you online, increases the credibility of your business and increases your exposure. Post Inventory Levels
Distributors feel more confident placing an order with a supplier when they know the product they’re ordering is in stock. As an Advantage Member, you have the ability to integrate your inventory levels with the SAGE database. This will keep an accurate count of how much of each product you have available. It also helps improve your customer service because it lets distributors know that either the product is in stock, or it is on backorder and they should expect a delay.
A significant part of any good customer service plan is keeping your customers informed about their orders. SAGE Advantage Members have the ability to integrate order tracking with SAGE Online, so distributors know where their orders are every step of the way. In addition to improving your customer service, this can also lighten the number of calls your customer service representatives receive daily from distributors inquiring about the status of their orders.
