Addison, TX (January 12, 2015) – Spirits were high as SAGE announced exciting new products and features at the SAGE Conference today. Eric Natinsky, SAGE CEO, revealed a new release of the company’s flagship research and business management tool, SAGE Online, as well as the addition of SAGE Web, a new platform to access SAGE promotional product research and business management tools from Macs, Windows phones and tablets, and any other device with web access.

SAGE Web is the third addition to the already impressive lineup. Between SAGE Online, SAGE Mobile, and now SAGE Web, distributors have no barriers to accessing their important business management tools and product information, regardless of location or device type.

David Natinsky, SAGE’s President, commented, "We’re incredibly excited to get the new SAGE Web platform into our customers’ hands. It eradicates the final barrier in allowing users to access SAGE from anywhere, namely those who use Mac computers and Windows phones and tablets."

SAGE Web will be released in February. It is licensed as part of SAGE Total Access, SAGE’s per-user licensing model that gives users access to SAGE Online, SAGE Mobile, and SAGE Web for one low per-user cost. Total Access is $49/month for the first user and $9/month for each additional user. Windows desktop and laptop users will continue to use the flagship SAGE Online service to access their research and business information. In fact, SAGE announced a brand new version of SAGE Online today as well. SAGE Online 11 includes over one hundred new features to further solidify SAGE Online as the most advanced product research and business management tool in the industry. Among the most significant enhancements are:

  • A new discussion groups area allowing industry colleagues to communicate, collaborate, and share ideas in a social platform designed just for our industry
  • Multiple-office location support for client contact information
  • Real-time supplier inventory levels for products
  • Ratings now include public user comments providing a more detailed and insightful view of distributor experiences
  • Many new product search fields, including assembled in country, decorated in country, and PPAI Product Safety Aware compliance
  • Unlimited preference groups and the ability to add suppliers to multiple groups
  • Share products on social media with links back to your PromoSearch website

Of the hundreds of new features in SAGE Online 11, a vast majority of them were requested by current customers. Natinsky commented, "Our main goal is to make our users’ lives easier. We always spend a lot of time listening to what they want and focusing our efforts on providing a solution. These aren’t always big fancy features, but little tweaks that can still make a big difference."

SAGE Online 11 will begin rolling out to all SAGE Online customers in late February. Customers will receive an “update available” message as soon as the new version is available to them. As always, there is no additional charge for the upgrade. SAGE encourages distributors who are not already SAGE subscribers to take advance of its complimentary 30-day Total Access subscription to give it a test drive.

With SAGE FastTrack™, SAGE Advantage Members can now update their catalogs in the SAGE database through a new streamlined, expedited process.

Addison, TX (December 8, 2014) SAGE has just announced the availability of FastTrack™, a new, expedited method for suppliers to update their catalogs in the SAGE database. Using SAGE FastTrack, SAGE Advantage Members can now update their product information in the SAGE database with ease by downloading their existing product portfolio in an Excel spreadsheet, editing the spreadsheet to make necessary changes, and then submitting the modified spreadsheet (and any associated files such as product images) to the system through the SAGE Supplier Center.

SAGE's systems will immediately review each submission and notify the supplier in real time about common errors or concerns. If everything looks good, the update will be processed by SAGE content specialists with high priority through the special FastTrack system. All of the changes will go live on all SAGE research services within just a few days of submission.

David Natinsky, SAGE's President, explained, "We are committed to improving our customers' businesses and helping them spend their time most effectively. FastTrack greatly simplifies our catalog updating process and makes it as easy as possible for suppliers of all sizes to update their product catalogs as efficiently as possible." Now they can still reap the benefits of accurate listings, but without sacrificing valuable time. The new FastTrack service is in addition to SAGE's other catalog update methods, including real-time updating through the SAGE Supplier Center, full integration to suppliers' back-end platforms using the recently-introduced Supplier Integration Toolkit, as well as "regular track" updating by sending catalog information to SAGE for handling by SAGE's extensive team of in-house content specialists.

Addison, TX (October 27, 2014) – SAGE announces its 2014 supplier rating award winners. Each year SAGE presents industry suppliers with A and A+ rating awards based on distributor ratings collected from SAGE Online and SAGE Mobile. For 2014, 964 suppliers received the top ranking of “A+”, while another 472 suppliers received the second highest rating of “A”. A total of 35% of all suppliers in SAGE Online received an award this year. As part of the Power of Two relationship between SAGE and PPAI, the SAGE ratings are also incorporated into the eligibility for the industry’s annual PPAI Supplier Star Awards Competition.

The SAGE rating system is widely known among distributors for providing the most accurate and reliable supplier ratings in the industry.

Distributors can rate suppliers at any time using SAGE Online, SAGE Mobile, or via a “Rate us now” link provided by the suppliers. Distributors can only rate each supplier one time, but may change their ratings at any time. Rating awards are given each year based on the aggregate distributor ratings. Addison, TX (September 22, 2014) SAGE is happy to announce several management changes and promotions.

Jarod Thorndike, formerly Director of Distributor Sales, will be transitioning into a new position as Director of Strategic Relations. In this role, he will handle all relationships with SAGE's largest clients, regional associations, and other strategic partners. David Natinsky, President of SAGE, said "Given our commitment to our largest clients, the regional associations, our technology partners, and other strategic relationships, we felt it was important to have one dedicated, long-time, senior-level person responsible for continuing to build, foster and grow these critically important relationships. We’re excited that Jarod has agreed to take on this new position. Given his depth of knowledge in the industry as well as with our products, we have no doubt he’s going to do an excellent job in this new role."

Blake Bozeman, formerly Director of Supplier Sales, will take on the new role of Director of Sales, where he will oversee both the supplier and distributor sales teams and manage SAGE's overall sales strategy. Natinsky continued, "Blake has already been a huge asset to our team in the short time that he has been with the company. We're excited to see him take on this new role and we know he is going to continue to excel."

Ryan Hanchey has been promoted from Distributor Sales Team Lead to Distributor Sales Manager, and Teri Cragle has been promoted from Supplier Sales Team Lead to Supplier Sales Manager. They will both report to Blake Bozeman and are responsible for distributor and supplier sales teams, respectively, including sales training, goals, and incentives.

Addison, TX (August 26, 2014) – SAGE, the leading provider of information, marketing, and business management solutions to the promotional products industry, announces today that the SAGE Show will be coming back to the Dallas area August 12 to 13, 2015. The show will be held at the beautiful Irving Convention Center, which is centrally located for easy accessibility from all parts of the DFW area. The show will replace the SAGE Show that was previously held in Fort Worth in the spring.

We produced the MAPPS by SAGE show at this time for many years and we’ve definitely heard the suppliers, multi-line reps, and distributors who were craving the return of a similar show to help them prepare for the all-important fall selling season. The SAGE Show 2015 will kick-off with a brand new, multi-faceted full day event devoted to relationship-building, education, and networking. As part of the event, suppliers will have the opportunity to schedule meetings with key distributors in a one-on-one format, or present to pre-registered groups of distributor personnel in focused sales and education sessions. PPAI will also be hosting professional education sessions during the day. In addition, SAGE will host a conference for users of its popular research and business management services.

The second day will be a traditional tradeshow day for both distributors as well as hosted end-user clients, enabling distributors to invite their clients to join them on the show floor to create a one-on-one enhanced sales experience geared towards identifying and satisfying the needs of key advertisers. Natinsky continued, "SAGE Show remains the only show in the area that clients can attend. It gives distributors a unique opportunity to enhance their relationship and increase sales with key clients. And with hundreds of corporate clients in the immediate vicinity, Irving is the perfect, convenient venue for this type of event."

The SAGE Show will be in the same week as the Houston Promotional Products Association’s popular Hot Stuff Show, with Houston’s show kicking off the week on Tuesday and SAGE Show on Wednesday and Thursday. SAGE and HPPA will be working together to provide a caravan service between the two cities to make it as convenient as possible for suppliers to attend both shows to maximize their return on investment. SAGE® Announces SAGE Mobile 4.0
The latest version of SAGE’s mobile app includes new search capabilities, new tradeshow planning features, a fresh new design, and more.

Addison, TX (December 19, 2013) – SAGE announces the release of a new version of its industry-leading mobile app, SAGE Mobile™. SAGE Mobile 4.0 adds a number of powerful new features, including:

  • Brand new Clients area based upon the new CRM area in SAGE Online 10.0
  • Search products and suppliers from the home page
  • Search for products by supplier location and shipping point
  • Tag favorite products and edit product ratings
  • New smoother catalog page viewing
  • Search and view suppliers’ personal IDs
  • Search for exhibitors directly from the tradeshow floor plan
  • Tag exhibitors to your walk list or set as visited directly from the list
  • Walk order sort for tradeshows
  • View product pavilions for tradeshows
  • Mark education sessions that you want to attend
  • Process credit cards using a card reader
  • New slide-out menu and fresh new design

The new Clients area in SAGE Mobile 4.0 follows the recent addition of full CRM capabilities to SAGE Online. Now distributors can access all of their client information on-the-go, including full company information, contact details, and client history. Users can even add history notes for a client while on the road. All data is instantly synced with SAGE Online for a seamless user experience.

David Natinsky, SAGE’s President, explained, "The new CRM area of SAGE Online is giving distributors a convenient, powerful way to manage their client interactions from their desktops and laptops. With this update to SAGE Mobile, distributors can now view all of that information while on the go."

This latest release also includes several new features in the tradeshow planning area. Users can now completely manage their tradeshow experience from the graphical floor plan, including the ability to easily search for exhibitors anywhere on the floor plan. Users can now also identify education sessions that they want to attend, view online versions of the product pavilions, and much more. SAGE has also added a new, innovative feature called "walk order" that orders walk list exhibitors based upon the order that a person normally walks a tradeshow. Natinsky continued, "With PPAI Expo right around the corner, this is a great time for users to get these new features that will make it easier than ever before to manage their tradeshow experience, especially at a show as large as the Expo."

SAGE Mobile 4.0 is available now. Current customers can download the new version for free from the Apple App Store (for iOS devices) or the Google Play Store (for Android devices).
